Description

It looks like not much has changed since November 7, 1857 when "At The Polls" was published in Harper's Weekly. Here, even the dogs are fighting. This is a hand colored wood engraving signed "W.J.H."... Winslow Homer? This is on newsprint and has the news of the day on the back. It measures 10 1/4" X 15 1/2". I believe this is in excellent condition for its age. The paper has toned a bit and has wear on 2 corners. It has been folded. That said, the print is bright bold and clear. As I am not an expert on art, please see my photographs for more description. This is from my friend who collects everything and is starting to part with a few of his treasures.
