Description

This is a 100% TESTED and FUNCTIONAL GNTX-120 (made by Gentex) auto-dimming rear view mirror WITH COMPASS from a mid-1990s Cadillac; it was used on a wide variety of GM, Ford and Mercedes-Benz models from 1992 until the late 1990's or so; please make sure this is the mirror model that you need and do NOT rely solely on eBay's Compatibility List. The actual sensor that provides the compass readings/information is the black box near the windshield attachment point (in other words, the compass module is part of the mirror and NOT something you have to install elsewhere). The frame is nice and clean and the mirror surface is not suffering from ANY darkened areas or "bubbling" (which usually occurs when the electrochromic dimming function fails). It comes with the wiring pigtail as shown and in case you need it, here is some info on the wiring: This is what I had located for a 7 pin Gentex harness, good luck with your upgrade: (*required connection; **required if you have a temp display). If the colors of the wires are different, the pin position will remain the same . Gentex made and sells these to GM, Ford, Mercedes Benz, etc. Often the harnesses are made by the auto companies as part of their car. They use the colors of wire that suits them. PIN 1 = PINK = POWER = +12 volts* PIN 2 = BLACK = CHASSIS, GROUND* PIN 3 = LIGHT GREEN = BACKUP LIGHTS* If not using the backup feature, connect this to ground otherwise auto dim will not function properly. PIN 4 = GRAY = TO AUTO DIM OUTSIDE MIRROR PIN 5 = PINK = TO AUTO DIM OUTSIDE MIRROR PIN 6 = DARK GREEN/WHITE = TEMP SENSOR** PIN 7 = BLACK/WHITE = TEMP SENSOR**16 pin: (*required; **required if you have a temp display) The donor vehicle has been in South Texas all it's life and so there is NO corrosion on the unit at all. Looks as good as the day it was installed. Please match the part numbers and check with your mechanic or dealer for further fitments/specifics. T hanks for looking at my item. The photos shown are of the EXACT part you will receive, not "stock" photos of some other part. If you are unhappy for any reason, I will happily accept a return. This is family business, NOT a huge corporation-I DO care about my customers and their satisfaction with my items and I stand FIRMLY behind all the parts I sell. Although I do my very best to ensure parts compatibility, PLEASE make sure this is the part that you need and that it fits your particular year and model-do not rely on eBay's "Compatibility Guide" which should be considered to be just as it's name implies: a GUIDE. Also, the listed item MAY fit other years and models but double-check your application to be sure. I scour salvage yards in the South Texas area for a living (one the wife doesn’t disapprove of as much as others!) and try to find unique ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER parts for die-hard auto enthusiasts from all walks of life…if it's important to YOU, it's important to ME. Most of my items are not new and will show signs of use, so please understand this when deciding to purchase; it is my policy, however, not to sell “junk” so unless an item is unusually rare or otherwise no longer available (even in the aftermarket realm) I would not offer it for sale to a customer. I also do not use “stock” photos...what is pictured is exactly the item you will get. My goal is to please the customer and help you get your Pride and Joy as nice-looking and functional as possible.

  1. Deans OEM Finds LLC is the real deal. Sent in my OEM Delco AM/FM Cassette stereo from a 1989 GM vehicle to be repaired. The turnaround time on the repair was very fast. Excellent packaging. Great price for the repair service. Now I can get my vintage GM vehicle back to its period correct look. Of course, the repairs were excellent and everything now works on the stereo. Great communications - answered all of my questions very fast. Highly recommend Deans OEM Finds for stereo repairs!

  2. Seller was hesitant about selling this item due to the condition so they provided great detail and assured me it worked. Upon receiving the switch it was as described and is now in my back up parts bin. Seller also shipped the item very quickly. USPS had a hold up for what ever reason and communication was good through out the process.
