Combine with fillers to make a high-strength fairing compound, filleting material, or adhesive CHOOSE FAST OR SLOW HARDENER: Pot life ranges from 12 minutes @ 75°F for Fast Hardener, to 20 minutes @ 75°F for Slow Hardener. Minimum recommended temperature (Fast Hardener): 40°F, Minimum recommended temperature (Slow Hardener): 60°F and Recommended temperature for dispensing via pump: 60-70°F CHOOSE FROM THREE EPOXY KIT SIZES: Quart, Gallon, and Gallon, with your choice of 5:1 Fast or Slow Hardener. Kits include resin, hardener, and calibrated pumps. The 5:1 epoxy resin and hardener components may be mixed by weight or volume. Choose 5:1 Fast Hardener when working in cooler temperatures (50-85 Degree F). At 75 Degree F, pot life is 12 minutes. Slow Hardener is best when working in warmer temperatures (70-95 degrees), or if you want to extend working and cure times. At 75 Degree F, pot life is 20 minutes. For dispensing product via pumps, the recommended temperature is 60-70 Degree F. 5:1 epoxy resin system can be applied to fiberglass, reinforcement fabrics, wood, etched aluminum and bare steel. This versatile, total boat epoxy resin system can also be combined with fillers to make a strong adhesive, filleting material or fairing compound.
