This auction is for a BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE VICTORIAN 14K GOLD SLIDE CHARM BRACELET with 12 14K GOLD TIE SLIDE CHARMS. They have their own character, shape, and style. Separating each tie-slide are two 4mm gold beads. This was my mother's bracelet. I can remember her going to the antique jewelry department at FAMOUS-BARR department store to buy the charms. She would put them in layaway! She only wore this bracelet on very special occasions. I have the insurance appraisal and the bracelet was appraised in 1984 for $1,500.00 - 40 YEARS AGO. I am not going to type out the information on the appraisal. I took a picture of it so please enlarge the picture so you can read it. She had bought 3 extra charms, which I DIDN'T include, so if the appraisal doesn't match exactly it's probably because she switched one out for another, at times. On my scale it weighs 31.1 grams. I show a picture of that for verification. This bracelet has charms that are enameled and jeweled. MISSING STONES ARE: 2 of the tiny black onyx balls on the horseshoe charm, 1 -1MM pearl on the charm with the 3 sapphires, and 4 tiny turquoise balls on the charm that is a turtle. These would all be easy to replace. The bracelet is 7" long with a safety chain. It is marked 14K on the clasp and it was hard to get a clear picture because it is stamped twice. With a loop, I can see it very well. I hope this bracelet brings as much joy to the new owner, as it did to my mother. It's history and I hope it doesn't get melted down.
