The bowl is made of silver plate or white metal , and has an engraved signature on it. Originating from the Islamic/Middle Eastern region, this antique original has a history dating back to 1850-1899. The bowl is in excellent shape and is a rare and collectible item. It has a unique Sub-Type called Begging Bowl Darvish Kaskuol which makes it even more unique. This piece has been carefully crafted and is a great addition to any collection. I have not tested the metal to see if it’s silver or not but I’m only selling it as silver plated or white metal . It have two original loop on each side to attach a chain and it will be carried on the neck for begging . This kind of bowl it was used for known religion as aliallahe related to the people called DARVISH . This kind of people supposed to be the worlds most honest peoples and incredibly helpful for the society . If so ! IT IS IN GREAT CONDITION IT LOOKS SO UNUSUAL AND BEAUTIFUL AND VERY RARE PIECE .
