A nearly new, UNIVERSAL electric, Fasco brand #D7908 fan motor purchased just 4 months ago to get me by on my A/C condenser until I had the whole system replaced. My unit used a 1/4 HP and there was a heat wave going on and the supplier was out of 1/4HP motor and said this 1/3 HP was compatible just slighter stronger, and all I needed to do was upgrade the capacitor, which I did because they are cheap. This is a multi-speed compatible motor, but is currently wired for single speed. If it turns in wrong direction for YOUR single speed unit all you do is switch the purple and yellow wires. My WHOLE older system was just scrapped, but I kept this motor. The shaft is 5” long and ½” diameter with TWO flat sides to lock fan blade on. *NOTE* KNOW what you are doing and that you need this motor before purchase because I no longer accept returns.
