Safety: Was made to work with hot and cold single-handle tub/shower faucets and was designed to provide single-function pressure-balance temperature control which keeps water temperature within a safe rangeThis RP46074 Monitor shower cartridge with pressure balance design keeps water temperature within a safe ±3.6° F (±2° C), Helps protect you from sudden changes in hot and cold water pressure.
