This item works but based on packaging, this item was originally sold by Amazon & the seller acquired the item for resale. The product was described as "open box" but based on the packaging this was a second hand item that was a resale, not an unused open box, a big disappointment. The reboxing of the item by the seller is evidence that the item should have been listed as "used". I've not made contact with the seller. Based on the seller's listing, likely seller will not make adjustment.
Shipping took a while, but that's expected for such a large item. The packaging was excellent, and the fridge is of premium quality at a reasonable price. I appreciate the seller for offering this item. I've tried many times to purchase fridges, but they often don't ship to Alaska or Hawaii.
