Description
A very nice vintage pair of solid brass candle stick wall sconces. These are in overall good used condition with minor finish wear/ marking. There is some wax residue in one of the cups. The back is about 10.5" tall, and 5.5" across. The arms extend about 7.5" from the wall. The backs have the Virginia Metalcrafters mark. They are a two piece design. The candle holders fit nicely into the square opening on the backs. They are marked #2019, and are of the open, ribbon/ bow design. These sconces are hand cast, true reproductions of those used in Colonial Williamsburg. The company closed in 2006. Each set weighs slightly different, and the bases are of differing thicknesses, though they look identical when hanging. See weight photos. They are very beautiful, minor scratches from storage and use on the fronts, which could possible be buffed out. Also, some tape residue on the backs, of no account. Each set weighs approx. 2 lbs. So, total shipping weight will be approx. 5 lbs. Items will always be mailed within one business day of purchase, and by using the most reliable and cost efficient method, usually Priority.
